New mixtape from Joey Jihad titled “Priceless”. If your a Philly native, then your familiar with Joey Jihad. I first came across Joey back in 2005 around the time YouTube was taking off and Urban DVDs were all over the place.
At the time 3 of the hottest underground rappers in Philly were Joey Jihad, Meek Mill and Reed Dollaz and of course they were all beefing with each other. If you know anything about Philly rap it’s more personal and everyone does it. So when I say beef don’t take loosely like you usually would when it comes to rap. Reed Dollaz was the hottest best rapper at the time while Joey Jihad had the best flows, and Meek Millz was the underdog.
Fast forward to 2011, Meek Millz is the latest hot rapper to make it out of Philly to the mainstream. Reed Dollaz is no where to be found and Joey Jihad has been continuously working on his craft, and this “Priceless” mixtape is his latest offering.
It’s funny that the the titled track from this mixtape actually quotes a line from Meek Mill.
