Ariana Grande’s anthemic “thank u, next” has spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and after an extensive series of teasers, the pop star debuted the song’s music video today. Taking cues from early 2000s teen films like ‘Mean Girls,’ ‘Bring It On,’ ‘Legally Blonde,’ and & ’13 Going on 30,’ the video features celebrities like Troye Sivan, Kris Jenner, Jonathan Bennett, and Jennifer Coolidge. It’s directed by Hannah Lux Davis, who has previously worked with Grande on videos for “Bang Bang,” “Love Me Harder,” “Into You,” “Side to Side,” and more.
