If there was any doubt as to whether Meek Mill is on it or not right now, the numbers from the first-week sales of his sophomore effort “Dreams Worth More Than Money” should kill all the chatter.
The numbers are officially in, DWMTM was originally projected to sell around 200,000 copies in its first 7 days on the shelves, in spite of the multiple delays it suffered. While the “Sales Plus Streaming” chart is yet to be updated, the “Building Album Sales” table indicates the full-length record has pushed 216,173 units, granting Mill the pole position on the charts.
I’m sure his alignment with Nicki Minaj played a part in the bump in sales just as much as the music itself.
Big shout out to Meek Mill on a successful first week, this album should clear 500,000. We’ll keep you updated on this stats as they arrive.
