If you remember, last summer Rick Ross was arrested for kidnapping, aggravated assault and battery charges. TMZ is now reporting that an Atlanta grand jury has handed up the charges – including possession of a firearm while committing a crime. According to his attorney, Steve Sadow, he says Ross was acting in self-defense against the groundskeeper, due to him committing a felony of private property.
The story goes, Ross went to the guest house of his estate, where he reportedly found Jonathan Zamudio, the groundskeeper, who was partying with cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Ross’ lawyer now plans to make a case for “acting in self-defense and in defense of his property when he encountered trespassers,” he believes the case will end soon.
So far Ross has already forked up $2 million dollars to post bail, which he surely be looking to get fees if he’s cleared of these charges.
