Being that Power on Starz is one of the most watched TV series at the moment and is also the premium network’s most popular show ever, 50 Cent has been getting a lot of interest from Hollywood. Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson is transitioning from premium cable to network television next year. It’s been announced that the Queens rapper-turned-mogul will be heading to FOX to produce and star in a new single-camera series, My Friend 50.
This is ironic since Fif spent the last year or so throwing shots at the network number show Empire, to now working alongside them for the same network.
Fif will have a recurring role in the series, and will join Will Packer (Uncle Buck, Truth Be Told) to helm creative decisions. The show is written by Ava Tramer (Angie Tribeca), the premise is based around Amanda Kramer, who’s a 20 something mellinail who believes all her personal and financial hardships will be solved by joining 50 Cent’s entourage.
