The Young Money vs Cash Money power struggle continues and it’s only going to get worse by the looks of it. So here’s what happened over the weekend.
Evidently, Nicki Minaj has chosen her side in the ongoing internal Cash Money Records legal war between Lil Wayne and Birdman, as the latter was denied entry at her very own pre-Grammy party in West Hollywood early Sunday.
When Baby arrived at the venue, paps started taking photos and asking him questions about Weezy. Little did they know what was going to happen next is the real news. Birdman showed up at 1:45 AM, but the thing is the club is supposed to close at 2:00 AM.
A guy at the door told Birdman and his entourage the club was already closed and they didn’t get in. What is more important though, in the video below you can hear one of the club’s staff members say Nicki actually didn’t want him in.
Damn homie, thought you was the man homie.
If Nicki actually said that, then it’s clear where her loyalty lies, and that’s with Lil Wayne as it should be, since he’s the one that believed in her and gave her a shot, with a slew of co-signs and features back when Nicki was coming up.
