Kanye West has been is a state of nostalgia lately with a series of shows for 808s & Heartbreak, where he has performed with Kid Cudi, Jeezy and Mr Hudson. It’s become quite apparent that this vibe has spilled over into the studio sessions as well with an autotune treatment of “When I See It,” a version of The Weeknd’s “Tell Your Friends,” along with a new take of “Say You Will” with Caroline Shaw.
Kanye produced the song for the The Weeknd, so it could very well be an original reference track.
Anyways check them out, I think I like the new Say You Will more than the original.
