2016 was already a year of big losses which included the late David Bowie, now news has surfaced that the legendary Prince has passed away. He was 57 years old.
The superstar was found at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota and authorities were immediately notified.
Just two weeks ago he performed in Atlanta after which he was hospitalized and was diagnosed with the flu. He still went onto to perform after that as everything appeared to be which he even stated on his Twitter account.
I won’t go into much of his legacy as there will be dozens on tributes and articles that will accomplish that in the coming weeks. I will say this though, you’d be hard pressed to find many R&B & Pop singer that don’t have some sort of Prince influence in their music
May he rest in paradise.
See what celebs had to say below.
