Last week while Meek Mill was in New York doing his promo run for his number one album Dreams Worth More Than Money, he stopped by Elliot Wilson to talk about a few different topics which include his relationship with Nicki Minaj, his time in prison, loyalty to Rick Ross, brotherhood with Wale as well as the type of music that inspires him.
On the topic of the type of music he’s into, he pointed out that although both Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole are dope, that’s just not the type of music he’s into, he pointed out that he came up listening to Jay Z, 50 Cent, DMX, Rick Ross and more.
He prefers street music.
