As it usually is around this time, over the past few days, The Roots hosted their annual Pre-Grammy event Jam Session in Los Angeles. They had a long list of artists that came out to show love with performances.
The legendary Philly Hip Hop band brought out fellow Philly native Meek Mill who’s been on a role ever since being released from prison. Meek performed a new verse for the crowd, as The Roots support him with a live beat.
There’s something to be said about rapping with a live band, it makes the music better.
