If you’re in your late 20s right now then you probably still have a vivid memory of when 50 Cent & G-Unit took over the entire rap game from 2001 to 2003. Around that time was also the 50 Cent vs Ja Rule beef, which pretty much pressed the pause button Ja’s rap career.
At the time there was an unfortunate gag order on Ja Rule from responding to his foes. The Murder Inc. offices suffered a raid from the F.B.I. and non-coincidentally happened during the time their friend Kenneth ‘Supreme’ McGriff was facing murder conspiracy and drug trafficking.
At the end of the investigation, Ja was now able to speak freely but by then the world had already moved and 50 Cent was the new king.
