The one and only, Kanye West is back, and with some big news. His upcoming album, which up until last week was called “So Help Me God,” is right around the corner, and today Kanye returns to give us a little update.
Yeezus took to Twitter where he stated “I’m changing my album name to SWISH”. He also added that “I Might change it again, but that’s the name now”. This is certainly something unique that definitely comes with a lot of questions but then again it’s Kanye West and he’s random like that.
It would be interesting to see him change it again though, what would that mean for the theme or concept of the album? The title of an album usually represents what the album will be about, the subject matter should be relatable.
“So Help Me God” and “SWISH” don’t seem to relate at all, which means the album title doesn’t really matter to the content of this album itself.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
