If you’ve been paying attention to Kanye West headlines since the Donald Trump presidential election win, then you already know Yeezy was on a spiral, whether or not it’s up or down is just now becoming apparent.
We’ve been seeing long rants and performances being cut short back to back. Now it has been reported that Kanye has been taken to the hospital for exhaustion hours after canceling the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour.
A Kanye West rep has confirmed with The New York Times he was in the hospital following a call from his doctor and was willingly taken to UCLA medical Center for evaluation.
Los Angeles police have confirmed they responded to a disturbance call at his home but instead deemed it a “medical emergency”.
“At 1.20pm the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an unspecified medical aid request in the 900 block of North Laurel Avenue,” a spokesman for the fire department said.
“An adult male described as medically stable was taken to an area hospital for assessment.”
Speaking before the incident, mother-in-law Kris Jenner said the rapper was left “exhausted” by a “grueling tour”.
“He’s exhausted, he’s just really tired. He’s had a grueling tour and it’s been a grind so he just needs some rest,” she told US TV show Extra at the Angel Ball in New York.
This even was supposed to be Kim Kardashian’s first public appearance since being robbed at gunpoint in Paris 2 months ago, but she did not appear.
