“The Life of Pablo” Album Was Streamed Over 250 Million Times

Although many were displeased with Kanye West’s decision to make the “The Life of Pablo” a Tidal exclusive, it clearly has worked out well for him and Tidal. Billboard revealed that the album was streamed 250 million times within the first ten days of its release, and the music streaming site also doubled its subscribers after Kanye’s album dropped.

Kanye had tweeted a few weeks ago that his album TLOP will never be for sale, saying:

“My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal.”

Although the album isn’t for sale, just yesterday made the single “Famous,” featuring Rihanna, available on both Apple Music and Spotify, ending his Tidal-only crusade.
